“I just bought my iPad with the Apple care. Do I need to do /call Apple to activate Apple care or it’s already activated upon my purchase?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was at apple store last week and asked the same question. According to the genius rep, the warranty is connected to the serial number of the item and is submitted to apple automatically...so yes, it is activated automatically.

Please try again later.If you bought the apple care already no you don't have to call anyone it already in the system attached to the serial number and if anything ever does happen you can bring you receipt with you, or it can alway be looked up by the serial number at the apple store
