• The Cameras have their own internal batteries that keep them going at night. The Solar Panel helps charge those batteries during periods of sunlight. We have two panels on two cameras and the panels keep the cameras charged enough to operate well past the dark hours and into the next day.

• The camera holds a charge from the panel and should have plenty of power for through the night. Even with your camera on all day it charges with the panel mine never dropped below 85% yet.
