I suppose you could, but not while using the mix amp. You plug the headset into the mix amp, then the optical goes from mix amp to ps4. There is also a USB connection to ps4.

The "Quick Start Guide" (link on Best Buy page for this product is directly above) shows that the headset's 3.5mm cord plugs directly in the 3.5mm headphone out of the MixAmp Pro. That's just one step to get this device connected. Consult the "Quick Start Guide" (note: for some reason, they linked the Xbox guide). Regardless, I imagine that all the same steps apply setting it up with PS4. Looks like, out of the box, these headphones are only good if you're gaming at your desk, just a few feet away from your console or PC< since the 3.5mm cord is only 3 ft long. Well, you could get cord extender (3.5mm female to 3.5mm male of 10+ft length), then you could game from your couch while using it. However, doing so could possibly degrade the audio quality, because copper wire picks up EM interference and the longer the wire, the more interference it tends to pick up. If you go this route, look for a higher quality and (probably) higher priced EM shielded 3.5mm extender cable to counter the potential audio degradation from EM interference.
