“Is this LED or LCD? I went to a local Best Buy and they showed me this product but it said LCD on the box when the website said LED. Mistake by the website or store?”

• this is an led monitor, though they use the same technologies. in essence an led monitor is an lcd monitor but is edge lit with leds instead of having a lamp behind the screen. if the one you saw in the store was very thin, then it is the correct screen

• Well, i would safely assume that by the mere description of the monitor in question where it says 21.5'' "LED" HD that this would in fact be an LED monitor.

• The box says the monitor is lcd and has led backlight though.
