“DVI-D connection I've read that the DVI-D connection does not really work, and you need a HDMI to DVD cable. Is this true? And if so, is a HDMI to DVD cable provided?”

• You might be better off asking someone at the store. My unit came with three sets of cables. If the cable you asked about is one of them I could not answer accurately.

• I can say I have never had a problem with the DVI-D port or cable connection. I do use the HDMI more often but still. They do not provide an H DMI cable but they are pretty cheap ($20) .

• This product comes with a DVI cable and a VGA cable. Unless a particular unit requires troubleshooting, the DVI connection should work fine.

• This monitor comes with a VGA, and DVI cable. The DVI cable should work just fine for compatible devices. If your device supports HDMI, that is another option, however, it isn't necessary.
