My monitor has a USB connection to my desktop. In addition to activating the privacy shutter, I unplug the USB cable when not using the monitor for video.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The camera is not detachable however you can turn it off when you're not using it. The camera also comes with a privacy shutter so you can cover the lens whenever you aren't using it.
