But four days ago you stated it would not work with an AMD card...Can you and BestBuy get the description right? I returned it with three days left on return window and holiday weekend; I didn't expect an answer before my return window closed. Now if I repurchase I would pay $10 more. Please someone get the compatibility specs correct on the specifications page.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this monitor is compatible with AMD graphics cards and also supports FreeSync.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does support it. See this link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1045846 If you scroll down you will see the monitor is listed. The confusing part for consumers is that Asus does not use the terminology of "freesync" in their manuals. What you want to look for is the term Variable Refresh Rate (which is another name for freesync). If you search for that, you will see how to enable it for this monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This question was asked by me and Asus responded by saying no. Now they respond to this question saying yes. If you go to the Asus website, depending what link you click on to get there, again one says only G Sync the other says it has Free Sync Premium and is G Sync compatible. Micro Center has the same model and says it is both Free Sync and G Sync compatible.
