Yes it does support it. See this link: https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1045846 If you scroll down you will see the monitor is listed. The confusing part for consumers is that Asus does not use the terminology of "freesync" in their manuals. What you want to look for is the term Variable Refresh Rate (which is another name for freesync). If you search for that, you will see how to enable it for this monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is odd that the Asus rep says it does not support Free Sync, yet the link provided says it has Free Sync Premium and supports G Sync. The same question was asked a week later and that Asus rep said it does support Free Sync. It seems it is a Free Sync monitor that supports G Sync according to the overview page on the link provided by Asus. I am so confused??
