• No, this DVD writer/reader requires a laptop or desktop, Mac or PC. No software was required for either my MacBook Pro or my Windows 10 laptops. Not only will this DVD writer's cord not fit your Android phone, your phone does not have the software driver nor the internal power to run this device.
