This pc should use DDR4 RAM. It also runs at a speed of 2666 MhZ. Do not be discouraged by the low number, however. It still has strong graphics, CPU, and works fine for gaming. Unless you are going to do video/photo editing, 2666 MhZ should sit right with you and your processor. -Anonoymous

In my personal opinion, most casual and semi-competitive games don't need anything higher than 2666 MHz, but if you do plan on doing more than gaming on this PC, such as heavy video/photo editing, visual effects, etc, I would recommend getting 3200/3600 MHz.
