OLED does use pixel-level dimming at very low brightness which can cause micro-flickering at certain brightness levels. Most people never notice it, but it’s worth knowing if you’re very sensitive to flicker. Overall though, for long gaming sessions the OLED experience is generally easier on the eyes than a typical LCD because of the perfect blacks and no backlight bleed causing halo glow.
