A:Answer It supports USB4 and while I have not encountered shutdowns, I can attest that it gets VERY hot!!!!! The system fans kick on, which are loud. In order to alleviate the heat, a user will require a cooling pad, which will introduce more fans. All that noise is like sitting in a wind tunnel. You'll have to play with headphones because it's so loud. This is a great device, hardware-wise but doesn't make much sense to me who is going to use this. It's too hot to really be a "lap" top and the heat it produces requires the unit sitting on top of cooling pads. It's just a lot of heat and noise and no mobility, plus poor battery life because of the hardware demands.
