QuestionJust got this laptop and I cannot get it to wake with the keyboard or mouse (lid is closed, outputting video via displayport to usb-c). Has anyone gotten this to work?

- Answer You need to setup the display to do nothing when lid is close in the Control Panel > Power Options. If power state is in Hibernate mode, the only way to wake it up is by pressing the power button.

- Answer Yes. Both Slots are PCIe 4.0, and both slots can accept 8+ terabytes of m.2 storage.

- Answer There is an 8GB RAM onboard soldered on the motherboard and a removable 8GB RAM module in a slot. The RAM slot will support up to 32GB maximum.

- Answer You can replace only 1 of 2 the 8GB module. Anything over 8GB upgrade will not run at full DDR speed, but the first 16GB still does

- Answer By subtracting the date of earliest owner answers, I deduce it was released for sale on or before April 14. 2022. It appears that (as of mid April) some other SKUs with different dGPUs are not quite yet ready for sale yet.

- Answer I did add 32gb stick of: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XB3ZNHC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details For a total of 40gb. Works great. Unlike ddr4, ddr5 works in dual channel, without matching stick size. Keep in mind: this machine has 8gb soldered in, and 8gb replaceable.

QuestionNo spec is showing for the maximum read and write speeds for the SSD slots. Is it the same 4800 as the memory bus, or is it higher? I am trying to figure our if I would be wasting my money to buy an SSD with 7450 Read and 6900 Write speeds.

QuestionI know this is a gaming laptop but how long does it last surfing the web or doing work-related tasks (not intensive gaming)? I want to be able to use this for school.

- Answer so the problem with this laptop is the armory crate software (the software that runs the gpu/cpu speeds and power take) that doesn't work properly so its almost random. Some days its lasted 7 hours while i was at school and others 2 hours. I would say yes you can use this for school but be weary about consistency, its almost embarrassing how poor ASUS's main software that's in every one of there laptops doesn't work right
