“Is there some fancy trick to getting this thing to crank out 165hz? I'm using displayport and know how to change the frequency in windows settings as my last monitor was also 165hz just at 1080p instead. If anyone knows the secret please fill me in”

Yeah it turns out the first one I got was a dud or something as it immediately had burn lines and wouldn't let me access any of the settings. Got it replaced and the new one showed 165hz right away as well. Thank you though
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I plugged it into my Mac and Windows dual boot computer, it immediately shows 165Hz for both OS's on the desktop. However, since my video card is a few years old, it will not get to 165 Hz on a graphically intensive video game.
