A:AnswerIt should as it meets all my colleges recommend specs for engineering students including engineering programs I would recommend purchasing a ssd to increase the capacity
A:AnswerI also wanted to say that this laptop has a pretty average display. Good enough for gaming, but not for any creative work. I don’t know what animation you’re doing, but colors won’t show clearly and brightly on this laptop
A:AnswerYou can use pretty much any brand you'd like as long as it is the specs you've listed. DDR4 SODIMM 3200MHz
I personally went with a single stick of G.Skill ripjaws 32GB 3200MHz SODIMM DDR4.
Keep in mind, only one stick is able to be changed out, so you'll be replacing an 8GB module with whatever you buy. So if you get a 16GB stick, you'll end up with a total of 24GB. (16-8+16=24). Also, 32GB is the largest capacity the slot will accept. (According to everything I've read at least.)
I realize this is too late to help the original poster, but this may help others looking to ask the same question.
