• Only the DP supports high video rates. Expect abou 144Hz though the DP and about 75Hz max through the HDMI ports.

• Only the display port will give you the 165HZ the HDMI ports are 1.4 and limit the refresh rate to 144.

• You can only get 165Hz refresh rate through the DisplayPort.
