You will likely be required to replace your power supply to make sure you have the latest connectors. Not all PS have the 2 8-pin connectors for the bigger cards. My 1300w has the correct connectors

Although, I’ve been seeing a lot of people recommend using a direct cable if your psu has the cable already. I’m about to build one that came with the Corsair RM750e. Corsair also sells a separate cable for about $30 bucks if your psu is fully modular.
