Seems to work with any computer with working USB 3 ports. The port needs to supply both power and signal. It works on my HP and Dell with windows 10. Should work on the Surface. The setup was very easy out of the box and they even provided an adapter to convert from USB-C to USB 3. Picture is sharp and clear. I have mine set up so I see all the parties in Zoom meetings on the monitor which leaves the main computer to share data. I would recommend this monitor to others
