- Answer No. Keep a standard handset(not part of any system, no glowing screen) with a corded handset for that. Last one I bought was about $15 from Best Buy.

- Answer No. Its not a two line phone and the extra handset has only a power plug because it runs off the base station. You would have to look for a two line phone or buy two seperate base stations to use two seperate phone numbers
