- Answer The software and model is different so I don't think so; I never read in the manual that the old hand sets would be compatible with this system.

Questiondoes the caller ID anounce the name of the person calling - I assume if the # and name are programmed in?

- Answer Yes-it says, ‘Call from’ and the name you have programmed associated with that number. If not programmed into its memory it announces ‘Call from’ and then says the numbers one at a time.

- Answer The satellite cordless phone itself is model CL80107. It is useless without the base station but used to either as an additional cordless phone or to replace a broken cordless phone. They appear to sell for just $20.
