Remove the batteries from the handset. Rinse it under cool water. Shake out / wipe off any excess water. Wrap it loosely in a paper towel and put in a bag of uncooked plain white rice. Leave for a couple days. Examine for any sign of moisture. If yes, back in the bag for a couple more days. If not, put in the batteries and give it a try. If you still need a new handset, the model number is AT&T DL70010¹. But they are not easily found. Not even on the AT&T web site. ________________________ ¹ https://telephones.att.com/pd/4378/Accessory-Handset-with-Unsurpassed-Range-Bluetooth-Connect-to-Cell-and-Smart-Call-Blocker-DL70010
