“Does the base have to be connected to a jack?”

• I have my base connected to my Samsung A32 5G by Bluetooth. Just remember to answer Cell button instead of Home. Also press Cell to call. I had a version that was jack only for many years. This allowed me to cut the landline and still look like a landline to my wife who is not tech savvy.
