A:AnswerBase unit is in my office on 2nd floor. I can use any of the other unit in and outside my home with out any problems . Distance about 100 feet no loss of signal.
A:AnswerIt drove me crazy trying to figure that out, but in the end I believe it's the number of handsets. It has those features and you can turn the beep off if you like.
A:AnswerI called AT&t support and the CL82407 does not have a headset jack. Many of the Panasonic models have the headset jack, and that is good, as I have seen 3 Panasonic systems with speakerphone that sounds very bad at high level. That is why I bought the great, clear sounding AT&T system with large square buttons for my Dad in assisted living. I took the Panasonic 5 phone system and gave it away. I have the same system at home, and not happy with speake capability at all. My previous heavy duty Pro system from Panasonic has a large 99 call capability and speakerphone capability was perfect, but the base residential models are ok, if you don't rely on the speakerphone while working.
A:AnswerHi just wondering if you ever found out the answer to this question. I have the same exact situation. I'd like to hear a message being left real time while near ANY handset since my base unit is not nearby. Model CL82407
A:AnswerI don't even own this phone but I'm sure they are Nickel Metal Hydride (just about every cordless phone uses NiMH, companies are still afraid of using Lithium for phones).
A:AnswerThe phone base must be connected to an active phone line. The phone base and other phones must have their charger bases plugged into active outlets to keep the phones charged. To call out, press the green phone button; you should hear a dial tone; then key in the number you want. To answer a call, press the green phone button, just as you would to call out.
