• The handsets have better coverage in our home than our wifi. The base unit is upstairs, and I have a handset downstairs in an area constructed of concrete block and built into the side of a hill. Reception is no problem.

• Not sure have not measured the distance. Do know that a handset I have in my detached garage works about 100 feet away. Great phone. STOPs all the annoying robocall, telemarketers, and just anyone you do not to hear from. Great phone.
