I was wondering the same thing now with Spectrum. Just installed these phones last night and now I hear like white noise when the other party speaks to me or there is silence in between the two parties speaking. Never ever had that before. Had replaced this from old ATT cordless and never had an issues. Maybe the older phones were made better.

I have Spectrum and did not need a filter. I am not sure about Comcast.

Get rid of Comcast. Very expensive. Their service is good, but unless you like to give your money away, get rid of them. I even bought out of my contract. I then went to AT&T. Less expensive for T.V., phone and computer service.
