DOES THE PHONE WORKS WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT null

This phone is powered from the phone line. so if you still have an old copper wire phone service, it will work when the Electricity is off. In our case, the service has been upgraded to the phone companies newer non copper wire service . It has a short term battery back up and you can probably buy a longer term battery backup from the phone company if you have the newer service from your telephone company
