Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can either connect the turntable to a stereo amplifier or receiver that has a PHONO input for a turntable on it, and connect a set of passive type stereo speakers to the speaker outputs on the amplifier or receiver OR you could avoid the separate amplifier or receiver by connecting the turntable directly to a set of POWERED type speakers. Please note however that the AT-LP140XP Turntable DOES NOT have a built in phono preamplifier/equalizer so you will need either a set of powered speakers that has a phono preamplifier built into them or you will need to add an inline phono preamplifier between the turntable and the speakers if they DO NOT have a built in phono preamplifier. The Klipsch R41PM and 51PM Powered Speakers (pair) are an example of such a powered type speaker.
