I have both paired this to Bluetooth devices and plugged into the auxiliary cord and cannot hear music. Why? All I hear is the needle scratching both through the sound devices and the device itself. I have confirmed the band is installed correctly. null

Make sure that the computer or the device has the bluetooth paired to the bluetooth on the Audio- Techinc Stereo.
 Once you have it paired, make sure nothing else using bluetooth is blocking the signal. 
Make sure the blue light on the Record player for the bluetooth is on. That means the bluetooth is connected.

If you can hear disc/stylus noise then your turntable is connected. I would next assess if the stylus or tone arm are damaged. Rejturn the unit for replacement.

There is an on-line switch on the back of the turntable. Flip it to the other side.
