“Can I hook this turntable directly up to the input in my Akai MPCX sampler? Will I be able to do this directly? Or will I be forced to hook up to a DJ mixer first? I hope I can eliminate the DJ mixer.”

You can connect the turntable directly to the RCA inputs (Inputs 3/4) on the Akai.
