“have an "old" receiver. It takes a ground wire from the old TT that is literally a bare wire that is wrapped around a screw and manually tightened down. Do I have a problem? thanks”

• No, you don't have a problem. You won't need a grounding wire with this unit anyway since magnetic cartridges generally don't need a grounding wire. Just leave your grounding wire where it is.

• Unlikely. If you're worried about a shorting situation, wrap the wire with some electrical tape.
