• There is no way to turn if off and closing the lid does not help.

• The turn table will automatically shut the sound system off and play directly to your Bluetooth speakers same for aux input.

• We are assuming you are referring to the surface noise (needle talk) that is created by the mechanical stylus to record interface. This is normal. Closing the dust cover may help with this.
