• I have no technical abilities, but I was able to connect to my record player to the bluetooth speaker wirelessly. No connectivity problems. took a few seconds.

• It should, but if for some reason it does not it can be hardwired instead. The AT-LP60XBT Turntable features a built in phono preamplifier/equalizer which allows it to be connected to devices that do or do not have PHONO input jacks on them.
