“I have the Audio-Technica ATH-AVC200 SonicPro Over-Ear Closed-Back Dynamic Headphones Black and I am attempting to plug them into my Samsung 55 TV however apparently the end of the cord I have isn't compatible, what do I need, please advise? Thank you”

In what way is it not compatible? Most headphones jacks on televisions are 3.5mm in size. The ATH-AVC200 Headphones come fitted with a 3.5mm plug on the end of the cable. A 1/4 inch adapter is provided for headphone jacks on stereo systems which are typically 1/4-inch in size. Is the 1/4 inch adapter installed on the plug by chance? If it is, remove it by pulling it off the cable to reveal the 3.5mm plug underneath.
