Hi old timer! I started buying LPs in 1957. You can use this unit with your old amp/receiver. It has switch-selectable mag cartridge or line level outputs. However you connected your old turntable, you can connect this one the same way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I'm hooked up to a 1970's JVC Super-A receiver so yours will for sure work. It will have the same cables as your old turntable for hooking up to power and to the phono port on your receiver. Speakers should hook up fine as well. This turntable just has the option to hook up through a computer, which is nice because you can record your records to mp3 files and have them stored on you computer or iPod or etc.! But this is only if you want to. You don't need to in order to be able to enjoy your records. You can use your old receiver (or stereo--- kind of the same thing).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will play the old analog way. Has RCA jacks that can plug into the back of your amp/receiver. Can be used with the phono jack or into a different jack, like AUX.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this turntable does work without a PC. If you are plugging in the RCA jacks to a reciever with amp then the switch on the back should be switched to phono. If you want to plug directly into a speaker this turntable also has it's own built in amp. You flip the swich on the back to line out and plug RCA plugs from turntable to powered speaker such as computer speakers or other portable speakers that have their own power source. Hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works perfectly well with a regular amp -- no ground cable needed, either. A bonus is that this turntable will even play 78s.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this is a solid yet gentle turntable for your precious old time LPs. It will work perfectly without a PC. The USB out is only if you want to record your LPs on to your PC or MP3 player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! As a matter of fact, that's exactly how I use mine. It's able to be used with a older receiver with the "phono" input or with a push of a button, it can be plugged into any other unused audio input (such as a cassette deck or CD player input on any receiver) with a RCA input connection. I love this turntable and think it's hard to find a better one at this price point! So I recommend. Hope my answer helped!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. We have it wired through our analog mixer board at the station and then to monitors as well as to our broadcast board. We also have it connected to a PC because sometimes we want to copy the music for our file.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. this turntable will work wonderfully with a stereo system from any modern period. I use mine with a 1988 Onkyo system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes you don't need to hook up usb if you don't want to, works fine with out, just a nice option if you ever want too
