Not exactly. This turntable does have a built in amp but you need to flip the switch on the back to line out and plug into a powered speaker. Like computer speakers or some other speaker that has it's own power source. Not sure if your sonos playbar does or not. The switch on the back can either be on phono (if what you are plugging into has an amp, like a receiver/stereo system) or switch to line out and again plug into powered speaker. The USB on this turntable I do not believe can be plugged in to another component to 'listen' to whats on the turntable. The USB on this turntable is for ripping songs off a record to the usb. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.hey, sorry if your having trouble set the turntable up. Im not sure if your still struggling with it, but regardless, heres an answer to your question. Yes you might need an audio receiver for the turntable. But audio receivers can be a bit expensive, so I would highly suggest you search amazon.com for a mini pre amp. There is one that runs for about 20 dollars or so and its really good, its cheap, and will do exactly what an audio receiver can. Now, I do not know the set up of your turntable, but im assuming it either has like the red and white input cables. what you can do if you'd rather not spend a lot of money is to buy a cable that changes the red and white cables to auxiliary cables. Then you can plug your auxiliary cables into your sonos speaker. youll need cables like the photo i attached. BUT the only problem with that is youll need to be able to control volume on your sonos speaker. If you cannot control volume on your sonos speaker then the volume wont be loud enough. but either way, try to google some ways around it, and sorry for such a long response. yeah.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think that you need an analog receiver. The turntable comes with Audition editing program built in, so you should be able to just plug and play. Check the technical manual on line, sounds like a connector issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need something with an audio input in order to get sound. The turntable has a built-in amp, however, you need something to send that sound to speakers. You could hook this up to your computer USB and play through your computer's speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes you need a receiver or amp and speakers,
