“I have been told that the AT-VM95E cartridge is not good for 78 RPM records. If true, what cartridge is required to play 78's without damaging them?”

I was told buy Audio Technica that you need a special Stylus to play 78 RPM Records. I would talk to them and see what one you need.I personally would like to get one so if the time comes i can play one also

If you do not want to change the stylus, a cartridge complete with stylus is the AT-VM95SP Cartridge. We also offer the cartridge mounted, wired, and aligned on our AT-HS6 (black) Headshell.
