It does come with a needle.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It comes with a needle already installed in a "head" that you need to insert on the arm. That's a toolless connection so it's pretty easy. Follow the manual to get the balance right on the arm and it plays great. Don't try to do it without looking at the manual as you probably won't succeed :-).
