• No, this turntable keeps spinning until you manually stop it. And when you are don, don't forget to turn off the power switch. I don't miss the automatic features of my old entry-level turntable. You'll find that the high end specs of this turntable are well worth the manual functions!

• No. This is fully manual. You must raise the tone arm, eith by hand or with the cueing lever. You may then set the direct drive brake, or turn off the power..
