Can the cover be removed and what height would it be w/o the cover? Looking to put it in a cabinet on top of my Yamaha receiver but not a lot of space so considered taking cover off to fit the space if needed. Max space is 4 1/2 inches. null

What's nice is you can dispense with the hinges and still use the cover in a low headroom situation by simply lifting it off the turntable and sliding it out.

Yes, the cover can be removed. The height then would be about 5.1/2 inches.

I believe that is too tight. Check the on line specs. It should have the dimensions.

The height to the top of the tonearm pivot is 5 inches and you need at least another inch to safely operate the tonearm. So a minimum 6 inches of space is needed for the AT-LP120XUSB Turntable.

Yes the cover can be removed, and it will lower the overall height by several inches. I can't measure the height as I am out of state for awhile.
