We purchased this a few months ago and pulled old records from the 70s - they played extremely well and you can adjust the skating. This will not track all records that have grooved a skip area but it will do a great job to avoid areas where an old player would skip. We are VERY happy with this unit. Led Zepplin and Aerosmith among other great records - bring em all back!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suggest cleaning album before playing. If clean, I would think older albums would not wear stylus any more than a good album. Sound will be as good as the album - scratches and worn albums will be heard
