“Will this device work to be a go between from my factory car amp to a powered sub? I am looking to only pass thru the audio signal and strip the amps power to my powered sub as to not over load it.”

• This will do exactly what you are trying to get done. They have one that is about 20 more dollars that adds a feature called accu-bass. It would be better then this one for what you are trying to accomplish.

• In theory yes, you can adjust the input levels to put out less of a signal thus making the factory amp underpowered.
