• A:Answer Hello, to fully support Dolby Atmos, TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio you would need to use an HDMI cable. If you use an optical cable, these audio formats will be down-converted to what is referred to as "lossy" or compressed audio formats. You'll still be able to listen to the soundtrack and get audio, but in order to get the full resolution you would need to go with an HDMI cable.
