This is not true. The Dragonfly is designed to plug into the USB output of a computer or phone and a pair of headphones. It is unlikely that your Mom’s car radio has a USB audio output. Also, does she plan to drive wearing headphones? Not a good idea.

Please try again later.In order to use the DragonFly in a car audio system you will need a smartphone (either Android or iPhone) as the source to plug the DragonFly into, as well as a 3.5mm (auxiliary) connection on the car stereo to plug into the output of the DragonFly. The DragonFly will not function plugged directly into USB port on a car stereo.
