is your laptop screen 4k, most laptop screens are 1368x720 or 1920x1080 .. in order for your webcam to work in 4k it would have to have a screen you could put at 4k, if you have an hdmi or a display port output on your laptop, try connecting it to a monitor or tv that supports 4k.

Please try again later.I don't have an AMD Ryzen 4700u system to validate, but I've found that this PW513 webcam does require a USB 3.0 port otherwise you will see a message to plug into a USB 3.0 port to provide a stable video connection. I'm currently running this on a 8th Gen i7 with an old video card, so I suspect your 4th Gen AMD Ryzen will handle this nicely.
