Can a Samsung TV work with RoKU? null

Yes. I have several TVs. Some are Roku and some are cable box. We have 2 that are set up for both. That way when we are watching ABC channel 7 and want to go to the tennis channnel 804, we can just enter the numbers on the box remote rather than having to hold down the Roku botton for 5 minutes just to change the channel.
