Yes it does! I have a brand new Samsung Curved TV and sometimes I listen through my headphones at night (I live in an apartment) and I want the surround sound feel without the noise.

This wont be quick connect like with an apple product so you would actually have to go into the Smart system of your TV if you have a Samsung or LG etc an go through the general settings and get into the Bluetooth section to see if it would infact be in there and you would be able to select it
