• Ummm, maybe. I mean you could definitely do so, especially if you wanted to have something playing instead of just using them as ear plugs. They have a pretty good noise reduction, but I have no idea what NRR they have officially. I guess it depends on how loud the said neighbors are...

• you can, and I have... but they may press against the back of ya ear and hurt a lil bit when you wake up.
