Best Buy considers "True Wireless" to mean that they do not have wires connecting the cups together.

Their meaning would only be possible with in-ear bluetooth.

Its confusing, but Solo 4s are bluetooth wireless on ear headphones and do not require wires to connect to bluetooth enabled devices.

It is true wireless that it doesn't have to be wired to something to play music, etc, but to charge the headphones you have to use a wire charger to charge them. I hope this helps.
