Yes they have a built in mic you can use it as a headset just like you would use to talk on the phone. I will say though, when using it with a product like Zoom (which I've done) when you are using the microphone and headset together (like both at the same time) the blue tooth connection does something weird, like the quality of the audio stream degrades. I believe this is actually a Zoom / Conference thing when using a conference type of product. It doesn't really matter if you are just using it to listen or converse, but if you were listening to music, or watching a video that's outside of the zoom conference, and then turn on the microphone and start using the headset as a microphone you will notice the fidelity of the audio degrade drastically. Not really sure why it does this but it's just something to be aware of.
