What does it mean by open box? Has there been damage done/found, are they at the same quality they were when you received them from Apple? null

open box just means, purchased previously and returned. The box was opened. I have purchased open boxed items before and never had a problem. They are not damaged in any way.

They will be in perfect condition unless specified by Best Buy, the packaging and all contents that come with original box will be intact and included

It means people buy them and they don’t like it and return to the store, but there the same thing as new.

It means that someone took them home and returned them. They do get inspected for all parts, etc. and if anything is missing it is usually in the description. Most of the time the item goes home and right back, but it was opened so they have to mark it as such.
